“I created Happy Paws to give other pet owners the same peace of mind I’d want for Luna and Skye.”
Hi, I’m Mary. I grew up in a family where dogs were simply part of everyday life, and today I share my own life with two wonderful dogs, Luna and Skye.
Before Happy Paws, I worked as a Montessori teacher and private nanny, caring for children, supporting families and often looking after their pets too. That experience shaped the patience, responsibility and reliability I bring to every visit.
Care built around your pet
Some need extra reassurance and patience. Some can be sensitive to certain noises, people or other dogs, while others are happiest enjoying a quiet solo walk in open spaces rather than busy streets or group walks.
Every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. That’s why every walk and visit Mary provides is designed to help your pet feel safe, relaxed and happy in her care.

Why I started Happy Paws
As a dog owner myself, I understand the worries that come with leaving them while you’re at work, away for the day, or when life simply gets busy. We all want to know they’re safe, happy and cared for by someone we can trust.
That’s exactly why I created Happy Paws: to give fellow pet owners the same peace of mind I’d want for myself, knowing their pets are receiving the love, patience and care they deserve.
Why choose me?
For many years, I worked as a Montessori teacher and later as a private nanny, caring for children and supporting families. I was also often trusted to care for the family’s dogs and other pets.
That experience taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, reliability and building genuine relationships—qualities I now bring to every walk, home visit and pet sit.
What you can expect
Whether it’s a walk, a home visit, pet transport or care while you’re away, my aim is always the same: to make sure your pet feels safe, loved and happy while giving you complete peace of mind.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to understand every pet’s routine, respect their personality and tailor their care to their individual needs.
